MTEL Pass Rates
This report provides the percentage of preparation program students who passed the Massachusetts Tests for Educator Licensure during an academic year (September 1st - August 31st). More about the data…
All program completers includes students who completed the preparation program.
All enrolled students who completed all non-practicum coursework includes students who completed all coursework in the preparation program curriculum that does not require participating in the practicum or practicum-equivalent.
All enrolled students includes students enrolled in the preparation program who have not yet completed all non-practicum coursework.
Note: Massachusetts does not require that candidates pass an MTEL exam to successfully complete a state approved educator preparation program. Some individual programs, however, do require candidates to pass one or more MTEL exams at different points during preparation, making it difficult to make accurate cross-program comparisons of MTEL pass rates.
A dash indicates that there were fewer than 10 test takers; therefore MTEL pass rates are not reported. Blanks indicate there were no test takers.
