Description of Admissions Requirements
Baccalaureate Programs:
AIC no longer has an undergraduate licensure program. Undergrads may complete education coursework. Those with a 2.67 GPA may enroll in the (4+1) Five-Year BA/MEd program.
Post-baccalaureate Programs:
Candidates with a 2.67 GPA and an appropriate background in the licensure field sought may enroll in the MEd program. Additional requirements include a transcript review, a personal essay and two letters of recommendation. Those who have passed the Communication and Literacy MTELs are admitted to the licensure track.
