Annual Goals
This report lists the annual improvement goals reported to ESE in the educator preparation program provider’s state annual report. Providers may report up to three goals for the upcoming year and are asked to report on progress made toward the prior year’s goals. Annual goals are reported in May of the academic year listed. Data last updated October, 04 2023.

Educator preparation program improvement goals for the upcoming program year |
Goal #1 |
The College of Education and Health Sciences will continue to work with P-12 Partners and the university community to increase the diversity of the teacher candidate pipeline and to support the success of all teacher candidates by continually reviewing and revising the educator preparation curriculum to prepare teacher candidates who can integrate students' diverse cultures into curriculum, create learning environments to reduce prejudice and oppression, and develop equitable pedagogy. |
Goal #2 |
The College of Education and Health Sciences will continue to grow and extend our PDS partnerships and will assess and evaluate the effectiveness of each partnership in order to improve the college's relationship and responsiveness to the needs of the great P-12 community. |

The College of Education and Health Sciences will continue to lead in promoting the development and use of technology in its educator preparation programs and other disciplines within the College. |
