Annual Goals
This report lists the annual improvement goals reported to ESE in the educator preparation program provider’s state annual report. Providers may report up to three goals for the upcoming year and are asked to report on progress made toward the prior year’s goals. Annual goals are reported in May of the academic year listed.

Goal #1 |
Monitoring and managing the growth of the School of Education and Social Policy is an ongoing priority, as providing additional faculty, staff, administrative and supports are crucial to our student's success. |
Goal #2 |
Creating and expanding additional on campus delivery model options at the graduate and undergraduate levels, allows us to reach a wider pool of student applicants with the goal of recruiting a talented and diverse student population. |
Goal #3 |
The graduate programs will be working to fully implement recently revised programs, while providing seamless transitions for those existing students. |

Goal #1 |
The Dean, Department Chair, faculty and staff have completed a comprehensive review of the teacher education programs, to address ESE report findings and college distribution course requirements modifications. As a result of this analysis, faculty are identifying changes to be approved by the governing committee for curriculum at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. |
Goal #2 |
Faculty are working with a wide array of Arts and Science faculty to address the program modifications needed to continue to strengthen the content course work and to make adjustments for the SEI course. |
Goal #3 |
At all levels within the school there will be an effort to continue to enhance the services, supports and programs to guide/advise students in their program of study. Faculty advisors, practicum supervisors, workshop leaders, MTEL supports and newly created Student Support Service staff positions are intended to help teacher candidates to be successful. |

Goal #1 |
The faculty, staff and leadership teams worked to identify and set in motion needed steps on campus within the governance structure to gain approval for graduate modifications, and are continuing efforts at the undergraduate level. |
Goal #2 |
The Dean, faculty leaderships and other administrators have reviewed options to make adjustments to UG program design and have begun to make staffing changes to implement these upcoming changes. |
Goal #3 |
Efforts have been made to increase faculty positions and campus wide resources to meet the rise in enrollment of students at Merrimack College and within the School of Education & Social Policy. Adding courses, faculty, advisors and support staff has happened and will continue to be monitored. |

Annually examine and manage the growth of the School of Education to ensure compliance with program approval regulations and the ESE Report Findings. |
Goal #2 |
Develop and maintain strong, creative and responsive programs for our community partners. |
Goal #3 |
Provide a wide array of student support services, programs and opportunities to increase the success of all candidates in the licensure programs. |

Goal #1 |
The faculty and staff have made tremendous progress working to identify and modify programs of study based on the ESE report, SEI require and the college's revamped core/distribution requirements. |
Goal #2 |
Our partnerships continue to grow and thrive! Districts, school principals and teachers are involved in our programs as sites for fellowship students, as faculty, supervising practitioners and advise in program revisions. We are uniquely able to partner with communities that serve a wide and varied demographic! |
Goal #3 |
As the college and school grown there have been a number of newly created positions created, hired to work closely with our students across all four delivery models. Additional services, support and such are in the works, as needs are identified! |
